As President and Chief Operating Officer for Goodwill Business Services, Mark is responsible for establishing the overall business services strategy as well as accelerating and broadening contract growth and job advancement opportunities.
Mark's 19 years of service with the agency and his deep experience building dynamic teams has grown Goodwill San Antonio’s Business Services into the third largest contract operation within the Goodwill Industries International network. Under Mark's leadership, Goodwill San Antonio's Business Services has doubled in size over the past decade; and more importantly, has helped create jobs for more than 600 employees, 75 percent of whom have a significant disability. Mark brings nearly two decades of experience and leadership to Goodwill following a 20-year career serving in the U.S. Air Force.
As Vice President of Business Services, Josh leads the strategic and operational direction of Goodwill San Antonio Business Services’ ten lines of business. Through comprehensive business development initiatives, Josh and his team support Goodwill San Antonio’s mission of helping to change lives through employment and career advancement opportunities.
His extensive experience includes managing contact centers (inbound, outbound and blended environments) throughout the U.S. and overseas for over 12 years in addition to serving as a leadership instructor during his 10 years of military service in the U.S. Air Force. Josh has also mentored and educated future business leaders as an adjunct professor within academia for the last 10 years. Josh holds a Doctorate in Management with a concentration in Organizational Development & Change, a Master’s degree in Procurement & Acquisitions, Master’s degree in Leadership & Management, a Graduate Certificate in Government Contracting, and Master Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
As Senior Director of Goodwill San Antonio Business Services, James is responsible for leading a diverse team of over 500 team members for document management, administrative services, and call centers.
James brings a unique blend of leadership, passion, and dedication to excellence that will lead the Business Services team well into the future. During his tenure with Goodwill James developed business models, quality assurance and training programs, and negotiated several contracts which resulted in more than 100 new jobs. James joined the Goodwill Business Services team following a 24-year career serving in the U.S. Air Force.
As the Senior Director of Business Services, Bryce is responsible for the performance of the following areas: Commercial Grounds and Tree Services; Facilities; Electronic Recycling Program; and Medical Transcription Services. A versatile executive, Bryce has extensive experience with operations as well as financial reporting, data analysis, and internal controls.
Prior to assuming his Senior Director role Bryce served as an Goodwill’s Assistant Vice President for Retail Operations and Director of Accounting. Previously, he was the owner and CEO for Arrowwood Cabinetry and the CFO and Vice President of Manufacturing for Cardell Kitchen and Bath Cabinetry. In addition, Bryce served seven years in the United States Marine Corps with tours of duty in Vietnam and MCRD San Diego. Bryce is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Gloria has a strong Business, Logistics, Project management and Continuous Improvement background. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a solid strategy development professional. She holds Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), concentration in Logistics.
She has a well-respected military work history (25 years), corporate and non-profit industry. During her tenure Gloria was assigned as the lead Logistics Inspector for more than ten years. She accurately assessed Public Law, Executive Orders directives and Instructions to ensure compliance within all effective operations. In addition, her work experience consists of over 20 years in Budgeting, Analytics, Logistics and over 15 years in Process Improvement, Quality Assurance and Team Building. Highly skilled in collaborating cross-functionally to implement business initiatives, improve workflow efficiency, and decrease operational costs. She possesses excellent communication skills, is bi-lingual (English, Spanish), energetic and motivating.
As the Director of Business Development, Melissa Joy leads Goodwill’s government and commercial contract administration operations to include; proposal development, support activities coordination, marketing content development, and client relationships management. Melissa Joy possesses extensive experience as a seasoned communication specialist, technical writer and project manager.
Prior to her promotion to Director, she served as the Capture & Proposal Manager where she established business development best practices supporting all Goodwill’s lines of business. Melissa Joy’s high-level business development acumen comes from having worked in a wide-range of industries to include banking, education, engineering, information technology, manufacturing, and nonprofit organizations. This includes working extensively in the government-contracting field as a proposal writer, where she secured over $25M in contract awards. Melissa Joy is a proud Roadrunner with a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Angelika has over 25 years experience in electronics sales, services, reverse logistics, asset protection and recycling for mobile devices, IT equipment, and communications infrastructure equipment. She uses her knowledge to lead the Electronics Recycling and IT Asset Disposition Program at Goodwill San Antonio.
Angelika and her team are responsible for providing IT Asset Disposition and Electronics Recycling services to our business customers as well as managing the electronics that are donated to Goodwill San Antonio Retail Stores. Under her direction, the Electronics Program focuses on delivering high quality services and reusing donated equipment to provide affordable technology to our San Antonio community. Angelika holds a bachelor's degree in International Business Management from Texas A&M University at San Antonio. She serves as the Treasurer of the State of Texas Alliance for Recycling - San Antonio Council and participates as a general member in the San Antonio Digital Inclusion Alliance.
