Opening of Electronics Store a Step Towards Affordable Technology for All

SAN ANTONIO (March 5, 2019) – As San Antonio continues to grow and attract more 21st Century jobs, Goodwill San Antonio is responding to the need for greater access to affordable technology through their Goodwill Electronics Store.

Tuesday, March 5th, will mark the grand opening event of the Goodwill Electronics Store located at 4810 Eisenhauer Road.  The store features an array of hardware including: 

  • Laptops & Desktop computers
  • Tablets
  • Gaming Systems
  • E-Readers
  • Electronic Parts & Peripherals
  • Commercial Equipment

 

Goodwill San Antonio is uniquely qualified to offer technology as part of their Business Services operation. Not only does Goodwill have a unique access point to inventory, but they are able to provide custom configuration builds and are a licensed Microsoft Registered Refurbisher. 

Angelique De Oliveira, Goodwill’s Vice President of Business Services, views this grand opening as one more way Goodwill is fulfilling its mission to help change lives through the power of work.  Angelique states, “Team members working in our Electronics Program gain hands-on, relevant experience while the products they refurbish provide our customers with affordable technology and access to participate in today’s digital age.”

Tuesday’s grand opening event will mark the official grand opening of this retail outlet.
